Ayomide Labinjo, alleged baby mama of Davido in another exclusive interview has said the paternity mess would have been avoided if Davido had worn a condom.

In an exclusive chat with Saturday Beats, Ayomide alleged that the singer was not a fan of wearing condoms during sex as she recounted in details what allegedly transpired the two times she alleged they had sex.

The young lady claimed, “The reason I slept with him the first time we met was because I just wanted to catch my fun. The day we met at the club, Ebevande, I was with my friends, I did not really know him then but I just knew he was an artiste. I went out with my female friends; we had like a ladies night out; then one of his bouncers came to meet me and told me that his boss wanted to see me. I actually thought it was the owner of the club that wanted to see me. When I got to where they were, I noticed that it was David and he was with B. Red. I greeted both of them, B. Red did not respond but David did and we talked. He collected my pin and asked me to return to my seat. When they were about to leave, the bouncer came to meet me again and informed me that they wanted to leave. My friends thought we were all going together but when we all got to the car, he asked my friends to go back. He said that I was the one he wanted to see.

“We went to the Genesis Hotel. When we got to the room, we talked for a long while before we had sex. He is a very jovial person and he loves talking. He made me laugh a lot and we talked at length. B. Red was in the other room. I insisted that he should protect himself by wearing a condom before sex but he refused. He said that he does HIV test every two weeks. Then I asked him how sure he was that I did not have any disease but he said he was very sure I did not have a disease. After he had said all that, I told him to just do what he wanted to do and allow me go home in the morning. That night, he had sex with me twice. You would know he was in the mood to have sex that night and it lasted for a while. He has a big manhood and it hurt me a little. The second time was when he noticed I was leaving in the morning and he just wanted to have sex with me again.

“The second time, the sex did not last long because he was very tired and he did not even know when I left the hotel. I do not drink or smoke but David drinks and smokes. He drank and smoked in the club” she alleged.

Labinjo told Saturday Beats that she was shocked that Davido said he gave her money as she claimed she had never received a dime from the singer since they met. In her words, she described the self-acclaimed Omo Baba Olowo as “a very stingy person.”

“I saw where he said he sent money to my family and that is a lie. The question I would ask is that what account did he pay the money into? He should bring out the bank teller. He has never given me money. If they said they have given me money, there would be a record or evidence and they should bring it out. Even when we had sex, he never gave me money for transport. David is a very stingy person and I would not be the first person saying this. I have heard it from different girls, David is very stingy,” she said.

When asked if she was certain that the pop star is the father of her child, she answered in the affirmative. She claimed as of the time they met, she did not have a boyfriend and she is not one to jump from one bed to another.

Labinjo said, “I am very sure he is the father of my child because I did not have a boyfriend when we met. I had some male friends but it was just a platonic relationship I had with them and nothing serious. I don’t jump from one bed to another and that is why I am very bold and certain that he is the father of my child. If I had been sleeping around, I would not be that bold to talk.”

She was quick to add that all she wanted was for the singer to step forward for another DNA test. Labinjo said that even if the result shows that Davido is the father of her child, she doubts mutual love would co-exist between them because of the way he has treated her all these years.

The mother of one also hinted that the matter may soon be taken to court.

“I just want him to take up his responsibility but I heard he is not ready for another DNA. My mother has gone to a lawyer and we would eventually go to court because I know we have a good case. I was told that even if David does not want to step out for a DNA, any of his siblings could step in for him. Once everything is settled, I just want him to take care of his daughter but there cannot be mutual love between us. Even the way he talks to me cannot allow for mutual love,” she said.

Meanwhile, Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, had reportedly said, “Davido is not the father of the baby.”

When asked if the singer would be willing to undergo another DNA test, he retorted, “He is not going for another DNA test. After all, a test was conducted and it turned out negative. DNA tests are never wrong. Davido had never met her before she showed up at his house claiming that he is the father of her child. She is just an opportunist looking for quick money and fame.”

A Statue of the Virgin Mary said to be weeping blood has become a shrine for amazed worshippers.

According to locals in Los Naranjos, Argentina, red liquid started to leak from the statue’s eyes.

But Church officials are keeping watch on the depiction to see if it is real or not.

It has not been confirmed that the statue is a ‘miracle’.

Pictures appear to show the liquid flow onto its clothes, and it has since been moved to the local Catholic Church and locals claim it is a miracle.

Priest Ricardo Quiroga said: ‘A lot of people come here to pray and light several candles devoted to the Virgin.

‘The first impression is that it is blood on the face of the Virgin, from the left eye.

Also the dress she is wearing is also totally stained this same red colour.’

The owner of the statue has also proclaimed that the ‘Virgin Mary’ has visited him before in a dream.

The man, who is not named, said: ‘It was the first time something like this has happened and I was very scared. I thought it was some kind of punishment.’

Father Ricardo said: ‘If she cries again, we need to do something at a high level in the church.
‘Maybe we would need to send her to be evaluated.’

He added: ‘The Virgin is asking us to change the way we live now for Lent.’

The only black female suffering from Progeria has finally  fulfilled her life wish to meet South African President, Jacob Zuma.

Ontlametse Phalatse, who will  be celebrating her 18th birthday this weekend, had one of her wishes come true when she enjoyed a jovial visit with Jacob Zuma at his Mahlamba Ndlopfu Presidential House in the Bryntirion Estate in Pretoria on Thursday.

She is the only black female in South Africa diagnosed with progeria, a rare disease that causes children to age rapidly. A walking miracle, it was predicted by doctors that she won’t live beyond the age of 14, but she has beaten the odds.

Zuma surprised Ontlametse with a basket filled with flowers and a big cake as a pre-birthday celebration. He even helped her cut her cake while everybody was singing “happy birthday” to her.

Ontlametse recently dislocated her hips and is walking with the help of crutches.

Zuma said: “One of her wishes was to have this day (with him). We indeed had an encounter today and I am honoured we had a very nice discussion. I said let met me organise a cake, even if the birthday is not necessarily today.”

Ontlametse said she was honoured to have spent time with the president.

“We had a lovely talk, chat, a private one, and I am really, really happy about all the things that we discussed and I hope it comes true.

“I am really honoured that he bought me a cake for my birthday and I am excited to have a slice of it.

“I am out of words, I was so nervous, but he (the president) is a lovely person and easy to communicate with and is down to earth. May God bless him,” Ontlametse said.

She was accompanied by her mother, Bellon Phalatse, and Advocate Bonginkosi Ngubane from the Ontlametse Phalatse Trust.

The Ministry of Finance has so far received 2,351 tips from whistleblowers bordering on cases of embezzlement of government funds, looting of assets and contract inflation, among others.

In a statement signed by Mr Festus Akanbi, the Special Adviser, Media to the Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun said the tips came via text messages, calls, email and forms filled on the ministry’s website.

“We have received 95 feedbacks through our website, www.whistle.finance.gov.ng, 1,550 tips came through calls on 09098067946 and SMS, 412.

“Also, 194 people sent us emails on whistle@finance.gov.ng)

He said that out of the 2,351 tips, the office was currently following up on 154, it deemed actionable.

“Some of the tip include: contract inflation and conversion of government assets to personal use, ghost workers, payment of unapproved funds and embezzlement of salaries of terminated personnel.

“Also, improper reduction of financial penalties, diversion of funds meant for distribution to a particular group of people, especially farmers and diversion of funds to personal commercial bank accounts to earn interest.

“Further more, we are following up on cases of non-Remittance of pension and NHIS deductions, failure to Implement projects for which funds have been provided, embezzelment of funds received from Donor agencies and violation of TSA regulations by keeping funds in Commercial banks.

” We are also looking into violations of FIRS (VAT) regulation by adjusting Value Added Tax payment, non-procurement of equipment required for Aviation Safety, money laundering and diversion of funds meant for approved projects,” he said.

Akanbi said that top on the Minister’s agenda, as the Chairman of the Whistleblower programme was to investigate illegal sale of government assets, diversion of revenue (IGR), concealed bailout funds, Illegal recruitment and violation of procurement Act.

According to reports, the Bachelor of Arts certificate purportedly obtained by senator Dino Melaye from the institution is fake.

ABU said it only offers B.Sc. Geography and not B.A. Geography as reflected on Melaye’s statement of results although Melaye’s Bachelor of Arts statement of results has ABU logo.

Punch reports that documents obtained through painstaking and thorough investigations showed that the Kogi Senator has a Bachelor of Arts certificate in Geography from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna state.

Melaye, apart from bagging a third class, also possesses a diploma certificate from the University of Jos. However, the senator only has a statement of results from ABU. And not only that, checks at the university revealed that it only offers B.Sc. Geography and not B.A. Geography as reflected on Melaye’s statement of results.

The document below shows Melaye had a statement of results with the logo of ABU. The statement of results read:

“This is to certify that Daniel Jonah Melaye having completed an approved course of study and passed the prescribed examinations as, under the authority of the Senate been awarded the Bachelor of Arts (Geography) with Third Class honours.”

The statement, issued by the Office of the Registrar, Academic Office and dated February 3, 2000, was signed by B.B. Mshelthlila. There are, however, certain discrepancies that beg for more clarifications. For instance, in the statement of results, his name was given as “Daniel Jonah MELAYE.”

However, checks on https://abu.edu.ng/ revealed that Geography is in the Faculty of Science and not the Faculty of Arts as reflected in the statement of results. Also, in the senator’s NYSC discharge certificate, which was issued on July 8, 2001, his name read

“Melaye Daniel” and not Daniel Jonah as shown in the statement of results. Also, in the diploma certificate issued to him by the University of Jos on August 3, 2006, his name read “Daniel Dino Melaye.”

He was issued an Advanced Diploma certificate in Law, Security and Conflict Resolution. He finished with ‘Lower Credit’ on August 3, 2006. However, in his Senior School Certificate in 1992, his name read ‘Melaiye Daniel Jonah O.’ with Melaye being wrongly spelt.

The picture above is that of a man allegedly beaten to death by members of the 174 battalion of the Nigerian Army barely a week after a woman was assaulted by soldiers in Ikorodu, Lagos, PUNCH reports.

According to a Twitter user, Kenny Abel Adesanya, the corpse of the victim was dumped by members of the 174 battalion on a street in Ogijo, Ikorodu.

An eyewitness disclosed that the incident happened at 10, Prince Jamiu Oyebade Street, Ogijo.

He explained that the deceased’s landlady had invited the military after a misunderstanding over two-month rent arrears the victim owed.

On arriving at the house, the soldiers manhandled and brutalised the deceased, landing him in the Pillars Hospital, Ogijo.

He said, “The beating happened last week. It was the landlady of the victim that invited the military from 174 Battalion just because of little misunderstanding

“The victim has been in the hospital since that last week before he finally gave up yesterday night.

“His family brought his body, dumped it at the front of the house for the landlady.”

The witness said the landlady has been arrested by the police.

A corper known simply as Abraham slumped and died during a football match in Akwa Ibom State.

Witnesses claimed the corper was rushed to a hospital where he lost his life after the medical doctor on duty allegedly refused to attend to him over a payment of N1, 500.

According to a Facebook User, Comr Dokubo the incident happened last Thursday, March 23 at the Government Technical College (GTC) in Abak.

Dokubo wrote, “Abak corpers gathered yesterday at the Government Technical College (GTC) field for the ongoing football tournament which was played by Corp members serving in Abak, not up to ten minutes in the first half one of us a Batch A Stream 1, Abraham popularly called Ab fainted at the field. Ab was rushed to Mercy Clinic Abak, at Mercy Clinic we saw the highest level of man’s inhumanity to man.

“When Corp Members arrived luckily we met a doctor he instructed that we first get the card while others went to get the card we pleaded with the doctor to run some test the doctor refused before we will say Jack the doctor have disappeared into thin air. An elderly woman who was a nurse tried her bit, few minutes later a Reverend Father came prayed for the boy and personally begged the doctor for more than 40 minutes before the doctor came to see what was going on, he injected Ab only God know what he injected Ab with and instructed that he be transferred to Teaching Hospital Uyo.

“Ab had given up the ghost before he arrived Teaching Hospital Uyo.

“The question is, if the doctor had attended to our brother, would what is happening to us now happened? I think the answer is a NO! Yesterday we met a medical practitioner who has no human sympathy in his world. We live in a country that has no medical security for her citizens what a shame. There are so many questions but we leave it to God.

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) has received a report from the Department of State Services containing evidence implicating the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mr. Ibrahim Magu.

DSS Director-General, Folashade Bello signed the new report on behalf of the Director-General of the DSS in response to a letter sent to the DSS by the AGF dated December 19, 2016 with reference number, HAGF/DSS/2016/Vol 1/7.

The DSS also attached 12 documents as evidence against Magu who was rejected by the Senate last week based on the damning security report.

According to the DSS, Magu while serving on the presidential arms procurement probe panel befriended a fellow member of the panel, Air Commodore Mohammed Umar (retd.).

Umar was later arrested and charged by the DSS sometimes last year for alleged money laundering and illegal possession of firearms.

According to the DSS, Umar said in his confessional statement that his company furnished Magu’s official residence in upscale Maitama.

The DSS also revealed that Magu allegedly used his position to settle personal scores with his perceived opponents.

It concludes, “It has exposed Magu as a fraudulent officer and betrays the high confidence reposed in him by the President.”

The Police are yet to release the national commandant of the Nigerian Peace Corps, Dickson Akoh who they arrested last Sunday, March 19, PREMIUM TIMES reports.

Akoh was arrested after he turned himself in at the FCT command headquarters, saying he learnt the police were looking for him.

He was detained at a facility run by the police special anti-robbery squad in Abuja and it has been learnt that since he has not been released since the evening of his arrest.

The police revealed on Friday evening, March 24 that the Peace Corps Commandant was charged to court earlier in the week, although the claim was disputed by sources close to the commandant.

“We arraigned him at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday,” FCT police spokesman, Anjuguri Manzah.

Mr. Manzah declined further questions on the matter, including whether the police procured a court order to continue holding Mr. Akoh in detention beyond the legally-allowed 48 hours.

But two sources close to Mr. Akoh said the police did not arraign the commandant.

The sources said the police tried to arraign him before Gabriel Kolawole of the Abuja Division, but the judge declined to entertain the case immediately.
“Justice Kolawole asked them to come back on March 28 for the case,” one of the sources said.

President Muhammadu Buhari has canceled his visit to the Sambisa Forest.

Buhari was initially scheduled to declare open the Nigerian Army Small Arms Championship holding in Sambisa forest on Monday, March 27.

The minister of defence, Mansur Dan-Ali, will now represent the President at the event, Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai disclosed this on Saturday, March 25.

The last may have not been heard of the certificate scandal involving Senator Dino Melaye as it has been revealed that his name is conspicuosly missing on the Ahmadu Bello University Alumni Website, PUNCH reports.

Recall the Kogi Senator’s woes began on Monday, March 20, when an online news portal, SaharaReporters, reported that the senator did not graduate from ABU for his first degree.

The senator had claimed that he obtained B.A in Geography from the institution.

Melaye had boasted that he was currently a student in ABU pursuing his seventh degree, adding, “Go round all the UNIS (universities) I attended in digging more.”

An exhaustive online search conducted– from the 1998/1999 alumni set to 2007 – for Melaye’s name on the website of ABU Alumni Association did not give any result that shows that the embattled lawmaker is a graduate of the school.

His name, Daniel Jonah Melaye, as it appeared on a statement of result by the university, when searched, returned with zero result.

When ‘Daniel,’ ‘Jonah’ and ‘Melaye’ were searched for separately, different names came up.

A search for ‘Melaye’ brought up only one result: Melaye Sunday Ola (Biology Education), who graduated in 1980.

Another search for ‘Jonah’ came up with four different names: Bawa Jonah Seth Besanhi (BSc Geography; graduated in 1973); Birga Jonah (BSc Geography; graduated in 2007); Kaigama Jonah Ishaku (BSc Geography; graduated in 2011); and Ndasala Jonah (BSc Geography; graduate in 1987).

There were 10 results when ‘Daniel’ was searched: Abin Daniel John (BSc Geography; graduated in 1978); Adamu Kantsan Daniel (Institute Of Education Geography; graduated in 1992); Aniro Daniel Rabo (BSc Geography; no graduation date indicated); Atenji Daniel E. (BSc Geography; graduated in 1986); Beshiru Daniel (BSc Geography; graduated in 1980); Dada Daniel Adefila (BSc Geography; graduated in 1979); Awubra Daniel Akinkwe (Geography; graduated in 2002/2003); Daniel Bosede Biddy (BSc Geography graduated in 1983); Daniel Dogara Garba (BSc Geography; graduated in 2010); and Daniel Ezra Jatau (BSc Geography; graduated in 2011).

When the President, ABU Alumni Association, Prof. Ahmed Tijanni-Mora was contacted, he said only the university could confirm if Melaye graduated from the institution.

Similarly, the University of Abuja, which Melaye claimed he had also attended, refused to comment on whether the senator obtained a master’s degree from the institution.

Suspected Fulani herdsmen on Friday, March 24 brutally murdered a 50-year-old senior staff of Delta State University, Abraka at his farm.

Hakeem Balogun, the Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of Nigeria in Washington, says different reasons are responsible for the extreme vetting Nigerians face during entry into the US.

Mr. Balogun, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Washington, added that the President Donald Trump’s travel ban did not affect Nigerians.

“The executive ban on immigration does not affect Nigerians. Whatever must have taken place regarding visa issuance, vetting at the airports, it’s all normal.

“All these things have been on even before President Trump. Let’s get one thing well. That you are issued visa is not a guarantee that you will end up wherever you’re going.

“It’s a global thing; it’s not just United States. Even with us in Nigeria, we issue a visa to you here in the Nigerian Embassy.

“There is no guarantee that you will get in when you get to Murtala Muhammed Airport or when you get to Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport.

“The final authority is the man at the point of entry – immigration officers there. For instance, you can come to the Embassy here, we ask for all the things you need to get the visa.

“How much do you have that we feel will be enough for you to stay in Nigeria for the period you’re going.

“May be as at that time, you were able to show us evidence that you have a thousand dollars which we feel will be enough for you to stay in Nigeria.

“By the time you get to Murtala Muhammed Airport, the man at that end there asked you, all you have to show to him is 100 dollars, definitely, he might turn you back, and that’s normal.

Mr. Balogun also said Nigerians are restricted from entering the U.S. because they failed to meet other required procedures.

“Then there are other things. What manner of visa did you collect to come to the United States?

“For instance, a pregnant woman who comes to the United States on visiting visa will probably be turned back at the point of entry because she does not have a medical visa.
“You are coming in on a visiting visa and the immigration man sees you pregnant. Naturally, he will turn you back.

“Even if you have the medical visa, they want to know if you have medical insurance; do you have your medical documents for you to be able to come and use their medical facilities here.

The mother of Canada-based singer, Stephanie Otobo who has claimed to be Apostle Johnson Suleman’s lover visited Omega Fire Ministries headquarters in Edo state to publicly ask for forgiveness from the Apostle.

The elderly woman dressed in Ankara, came to the church in company of Stephanie’s elder sister. The mother said she cannot watch her daughter get destroyed by lying against a pastor.

Apostle Suleman said he and his wife have forgiven her but that the law must take its course.

Stephanie had previously released a video saying she is back to her base in Canada and that the video of her mother pleading for forgiveness from Apostle Suleman last week was done under duress.

She alleged that her mother has been arrested twice. In the video, Stephanie’s mother asked people to help her beg the Apostle and that she doesn’t want the matter to continue. Contrary to Stephanie’s claim, the woman said she had never met with Apostle Suleman.

The Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State, Joe Igbokwe has explained that the failure of Igbos not to see politics as business will continue to hinder them against having a shot at the presidency.

Igbokwe explained that Igbos shot themselves in the leg during the 1993 presidential election when they failed to queue behind the acclaimed winner, MKO Abiola.

According to him, that single action pitched the Yoruba against them after the polls.

He said the people of the region failed to realize that politics was not business and can never be equated with business, which they were only good at.

Igbokwe believed that until Igbos woke up from the slumber, they would continue to lament and see the Presidential Villa from the mountain top.

He said, “Until the Igbo wake up from their slumber, they will not realise the need for cooperation. The 1993 presidential election provided the Igbo the opportunity to cement their relationship with the South-West because we needed to bridge that gap.

“The North was able to actualize the annulment of that election because the Igbo failed to stand with the Yoruba. It was only a few of us who stood with Abiola – myself, Ndubuisi Kanu, Payne Jackson – among others. When we put the issue before our people, they claimed that the Igbo had fought their own civil war and that it was the turn of the Yoruba to fight their own.

“I like the ruggedness of the Yoruba. While the Yoruba were confronting their issues, the Igbo were busy clapping and that is why we warned them that if with the sophistication of Yoruba leaders and this was happening to them, the Igbo weren’t safe.”

Asked if the Igbos have the hope of ruling Nigeria soon, Igbokwe said, “they don’t understand Nigerian politics and that is my problem with them. Nigerian politics is not business. After the demise of Yar Adua, what I expected the Igbo to do was to ask Jonathan to finish the four years of Yar Adua and allow the North to have their eight years.

“And by 2015, the President would have come to the South-East. They (Igbo) were cajoled with the belief that no one could defeat the incumbent.”

The Founder and General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman celebrated his birthday on Sunday, March 26 by surprising church members with cars among others.

OFM headquarters witnessed the convergence of a quality crowd with celebrities  like Comedian, Seyi Law, and Nollywood actor, Uche Odoputa among others pictured at the birthday celebration organized in honour of the Oracle

A multimillion naira house and total number of 26 posh cars were given out to different categories of members of his Ministry, as Apostle Suleman poised to rather celebrate his own people in a big way for being dedicated to the Mission and supporting him over the years. Each department of the OFM was touched with the rare blessing.

The first shocker was the gift of a N16 million, 4-bedroom bungalow, fully furnished, to a female member who also got N100,000 cash. The cars given out included a Ford Jeep, Lexus Jeep, Lexus car, Acura Jeep, Infinity Jeep, Honda Pilot Jeep, Nissan Xterra Jeep, Suzuki V6 Jeep, Camry car, and other brands. Outside the car and house donations, the church members were also blessed with a cash sum of N6 million by Apostle Suleman. N2m was given to widows, N100,000 and N250,000 respectively was given each to members from all OFM departments who have been in the ministry for longer years. A physically challenged gentleman and a Dr. Elliot were blessed with N500,000 each while N1 million cash was given out to the orphanage.
